Sorry for the Airstream renovation spam. I just can't help it. This is our home! This one is for keeps. It has everything we need (or will, soon-so-soon). There's something about it, something far more special and right and good than any other. Living in it while renovating is still so tough - my patience was tried HARD today and I was about to lose my shit, but it's been fascinating to see what we need most by what we prioritize, what we are willing to live without, or make concessions on. Payday is exciting, because it means we can buy more supplies, and we play a game: what can we get done with what we already have without spending a cent until payday rolls around again?
And perhaps the best thing:
We don't have to leave the home we love after a long day of building. We clean up our tools, and put things back where they belong, and make dinner. We say our good nights and retreat to our beds, and go to sleep.
