Poetry on the silk road

I was traveling with my fiteen years old son from Beijing to Paris by train, and sometimes cars. On the road, I took him in a place I have been alone, years ago, while on an assignment for the National Geographic Magazine on the region of Xinjiang where the uyghur people live.

I wanted to share with him the feeling of the ancient silk road and its poetry.
