How do you push through when you’ve lost all motivation?
👉🏼You find a tribe, set realistic goals, identify the benefits of creating new habits, and then get to work.💪🏽

Honestly, do you always feel like brushing your teeth or taking a shower? Sometimes you’re cuddled up in bed but still drag yourself out to brush the chompers because you know that you need to! You identify the need for the action as part of a healthy mouth (and social life) so you do it regardless of whether or not you actually want to.
The same associations can be made for meal prepping, working out, meditation, journaling, and a yoga practice.
Will you always feel like doing them in the moment?
Probably not.
But you can attach your “motivation” to the benefits of developing these habits and let that drive you towards action each day.

Use this post to set at least one goal for yourself. Be sure that your goals are specific, measurable, and realistic for you.

For example: instead of saying, “I want to tone my legs”, you would write, “decrease my circumference measurement from 26 to 24in over the next 3 months.”
This gives you a realistic time frame and a quantifiable goal.
Otherwise, how the heck would you even gauge “toned”?🤔

I recommend that you approach goal setting from a holistic POV. Incorporate consistency, self-love practices, nutrition, and fitness into your goals so that you’re coming at it from a more positive place instead of trying to hit a certain weight or size.
Fitness includes emotional, mental AND physical.
Balance is key!⚖️

As for my goals, I’m focusing on giving myself more mental, emotional, and physical space with a daily morning yoga practice. My goal is to do that on the mat 5x/week.
I also want reestablish the level of consistency that I had with my training when I was teaching classes. 5x/week without fail! So I’m making it a goal to get down to the gym before work every morning.
