Seek shade from the #Dubai #sun in Sohrab #Sepehri’s universe of poetry, #calligraphy and dusty #deserts. A child of #Kashan, the artist grew up among the town’s ‘#gardens of paradise’ and so the #trees that offered a cool respite became a source of artistic inspiration. Sepehri later travelled to the East – fascinated by what Hinduism and the traditions of #Japan had to offer his gentle, reclusive spirit. This universal minimalist work, encapsulating both his homeland and travels is on view to the public in our #DIFC galleries from 20 – 24 March.
