🤙🏽What is the best thing to do when you need to unwind after a stressful week? Comment below please 👇🏽 _ When I lived in #Kauai we would jump Hopi Falls after a stressful week. I miss doing that so much. We would hike out the spot and take turns jumping off. It doesn’t look like a long drop from this angle but it’s a mind bender standing up top. The challenge is to get your mind past every “what if” scenario. If you step and look down your body will lock up. It’s a challenge of the brain to see who is really in control and then training it to stay that way. Naturally our minds reaction is don’t jump and you don’t realize your mind is so strong it will stop your body against your own will. You fight against it to jump but once you do and your at the bottom the adrenaline and endorphins that release are addictive because it feels so good. _ I think the same scenario applies to life for example a lot of people are scared to get in shape. That drastic change is equal in thought to standing at the edge of a cliff. Their body locks up, your mind says you can’t do it and you have to fight to step off the cliff and say YES!! Today I’m gonna go for it! So many unknowns and “what if” scenarios. But once you jump you realize you get a rush of endorphins from workouts and it becomes addictive.
