Three owls in three days!

I was driving back from the ocean with some friends and in the middle of the road we saw a wild owl just standing there oddly. Naturally we hopped out and ushered her back to safety.
The following day, gathered around a small fire, I'd just gifted my sweet friend @ofthesun__ a soft toy owl for her birthday (unrelated, just a kooky spontaneous gift) and moments later as we were sipping (@daughterofthehive ?) tea along came the third owl... A wild tawny-frog-mouth lands on the window sill glaring in at us. The seven of us moved to the veranda and watched her for hours. Her eyes were electric and as she built trust, she came gradually closer. She ended up landing on @ofthesun__ knees.... Her gaze cycled between fierce, wild and even kind sometimes.
The beautiful creature ended up flying inside the house of its own accord and even stayed in @rosierosematheson room... all night... She didn't seek food, she just came and spoke to us with her big eyes. It was one of those occurrences you can't explain well with words --when nature reminds you of the magic that exists and the only thing that makes sense in that moment is to listen.
