“Kanyakumari is the southern tip of India and it's also a holy place in Hindu religion. While traveling to the holiest cities of India to document the lives of pilgrims, I stumbled upon this similar scene multiple times, and it was always fascinating – women drying their saris together in the warm wind. I spent quite some time admiring the movements of the colourful fabrics as they danced in the breeze. Some of them were amused by my interest in such an everyday scene, but I simply explained that it was beauty in simplicity to me.” Image captured by Marji Lang, @marjilang on Instagram.
