“The aesthetic in Japan is subtle and unassuming. It’s the light minimalist touch that makes it a dream to photograph. I visited early in the morning to avoid the crowd and was lucky enough to be greeted with bright and sunny weather. As I stepped into the corner for this shot, sunlight burst through the symmetrical structure above and into my frame. It was like a spotlight shining down on the architecture, showing off its unique design.
