“I believe that women are the key to world peace and justice.” Philip Blank held a painting of his late wife, Beatrice, at the @womensmarch in #Milwaukee on Saturday. Beatrice was, in his words, “a peace activist.” Philip, who’s 88, marched last January in Madison, Wisconsin, too. “In 2018 I'm hoping that women of different stripes and backgrounds can get together and agree to infuse their organizations with the common good, because that's what we need for our country,” he said. @sarastathas took this photo while on assignment at the #WomensMarch in Milwaukee.
