Here's to all of us trailblazers, adventurers and rawkstars as we head into 2018!

2017 started out as a very hard year for me. I stepped up as sole owner of Simple Green Smoothies in a time when the business wasn't doing very well. I felt the financial responsibility of my amazing team and the health of this rawkstar community on my shoulders.

Could I do this?
Will this work?
Who will help me?

Yet in my heart I knew that Simple Green Smoothies was just beginning. We need to share these simple recipes and show how delicious, affordable and beneficial a green smoothie can be... especially when you do it day after day. So I ventured down a path I couldn't see. A path that wasn't safe or planned out. Yet my heart told me to keep on going... and my faith kept me hoping.

As 2017 wraps up, I've learned that all I can do is take it one step at a time, find hope in the unknown and pray for guidance + wisdom. Over the year, so many remarkable people have come into my life to encourage + support me. My team has wrapped me in a giant hug and worked smart through all the ups and down, friends have cheered me along and my family has loved me through all the late nights and long weeks.

I don't know ALL of what's in store for 2018, but I do know Simple Green Smoothies will reach millions more people as we head down a new path (because I'm not going back to the paved road...ever). We will rally together as a community, make the world a healthier + happier place and constantly live out our passions.

With tears in my eyes, I say thank you for being a part of the community, encouraging me, asking questions, tagging me in your photos and spreading the green smoothie love. Simple Green Smoothies is what it is today because of you, rawkstar.
