It’s fresh-out-the-oven season! For something sweet and savory, crispy and creamy, try this flatbread made with honey, yogurt, figs, and caramelized onion. #Recipe below. --
Flatbread with Yogurt, Caramelized Onions, Figs, and Honey
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons Chobani® Plain Whole Milk Greek Yogurt
1 cup heavy cream
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
1 large thinly sliced onion
4 sprigs of thyme
2 prebaked flatbread bases
1 small thinly sliced pear
8 figs, sliced lengthwise
4 tablespoons crumbled blue cheese
Salt and pepper

Instructions:
1. The day before, add 2 tablespoons yogurt to 1 cup of cream and let sit out at room temperature for 24 hours. then refrigerate for up to 1 week.
2. Heat an oven to 450ºF.
3. In a medium pan, heat 1 tablespoon olive oil and caramelize onion and thyme.
4. Spread yogurt mix on the flatbread base and top with onion mix, pears, figs, and blue cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
5. Transfer the flatbread to the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is crisp and the cheese is slightly melted.
6. Top with walnuts and serve.
