Chocolate Cake with Yogurt Glaze and Candied Orange Peel
For the cake:
½ cup Chobani® Plain Whole Milk Greek Yogurt
1 cup orange juice
1 cup melted unsalted butter
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2 cups sugar
3/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 large eggs
For the glaze:
½ cup Chobani® Vanilla Non-Fat Greek Yogurt
1 cup powder sugar
Candied orange peel or wheels
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
2. In a bowl, combine juice, butter, and cocoa.
3. In a large separate bowl, whisk together sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and flour.
4. Add the chocolate mixture to the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the vanilla, eggs, and yogurt. Mix into the chocolate batter until combined.
6. Butter a 12-cup Bundt pan and pour in the batter.
7. Bake the cake for 50 to 55 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Remove the cake from the oven, wait 10 minutes, and turn the pan over onto a cooling rack.
For the glaze:
1. Whisk yogurt with powder sugar. Spoon the glaze over the top of the chilled cake, letting it drip down the sides. Top with candied oranges.
