It’s hard to picture Jean-Claude Van Damme not kicking somebody. “I still love martial arts,” said @jcvd, who’s famed for his devastating reverse roundhouse and epic splits. “Martial arts changed my life,” he told the @ニューヨーク・タイムズ reporter Robert Ito. “If you were born in the dojo, you will die in the dojo.” On December 15, @amazonstudios will release the first season of “Jean-Claude Van Johnson.” The show is @jcvd’s first TV drama. In it, he plays 3 roles: a fictionalized version of himself, a time-traveling doppelgänger and a simpering, squeaky-voiced Bulgarian factory worker. Rather than dodge the actor’s sometimes rocky past, the series lovingly mocks it. As he waits to see whether people like @jcvanjohnson, @jcvd is keeping busy. Among his projects: He’s helping train #mixedmartialarts fighters and working to create a sanctuary for endangered animals in Australia. But @jcvanjohnson, he says, is the highlight of his year. @latergraham took this photo #JeanClaudeVanDamme at his home in #LA.
