For the last fifteen years of his life, Sir Winston #Churchill was protected by his bodyguard Sergeant Edmund Murray. One of Murray’s responsibilities was to serve as custodian of Churchill’s #painting equipment and to set up these materials. Throughout this time #Chartwell remained Churchill’s favourite place to be and to paint, particularly by his beloved #goldfish pool.
