Brunch is a meal that has always intrigued me. From a guest perspective it’s such a special event - something you do on your precious day off. But from the restaurant perspective, it tends to be the meal that often gets the least amount of attention. For me, there was an opportunity there. To showcase more food, more hospitality, and more creativity for this meal. It started with us completely erasing the traditional menu. What if there was no set menu? And then the dishes just started coming out of the kitchen for all to choose from in a communal, interactive setting? Would people venture further from just ordering eggs? How far could we push the boundaries? We're excited to serve brunch our way, in our "Weekend Table" meals at @189bydominiqueansel, like these build-your-own Lobster Rolls, with tender tail and claw meat, lemon confit aioli, espelette, Old Bay, chives, and homemade split-top potato buns.
