Each nesting pairs has their own perching site during mating-period. However, they better pick one twing/branch later, when they feed chicks. All nesting holes have one entrance, so it is crucial to detect predators before flying in. "Two heads are better than one", especially 5! They seem to look at the same direction, but if you investigate the pic more careful, you realize that all of them looking at a slightly different direction. The vertical bank - where they all nesting - is at right, and all of them watch their own holes. Only about 30 miles from my actual residency. No need to travel far away for fantastic experience.
