breakfast in one of my very favorite corners of the world. last night I lay awake a long time listening to the sound of rain on leaves and again in the wee hours of this muggy morning between linen sheets I listened - fat drops on already wet leaves - eyes closed - I listened - so familiar so comforting to recognize the sound of rain on the trees outside my window. home.i'm happy to be staying here a while
