in the cool quiet of the louisiana morning we walked together over the undulating brick pathways .

uneven and slightly treacherous to those with eyes turned away from the path in front of them. so instead we walked hand in hand one acting as guide for the other as we turned our eyes left and right into the gardens and doorways and along the porches of the beautiful houses on our morning coffee route .

but for all the perfectly placed pots and plants and door knockers I fell for this slightly less manicured wild gardened one. Breathtaking in its swath of pinky hued southern morning light. this is the one on the block with the best story to tell surely .
