#yogaeverydamnday Day 13! A super day! High and low but mostly high. My yoga today was a massive practice in letting go. I've arrived back at one of my favorite mantras: Do no harm, but take no shit. Somehow we've taken a lot of shit as an organization lately - we give and give and give and eventually, sometimes, people take advantage. Well. I'm done with that. I hereby declare: I will never again hire a person that doesn't fully resonate with my soul. When it comes to business, to collaborations, to projects I continuously ask myself: is there love in this? If the answer is no, or if I'm unsure, I take another route. If the answer is a resounding Y E S, I move forward. Somehow I've forgotten about this very important measure when it comes to staff and I needed this reminder, to check in, to ground myself in my own ability to choose and make my own path as an entrepreneur. It's been a tumultuous week but I am arriving at a place of peace.
And with peace... Excitement! So many exciting things are happening in the world of Yoga Girl. We are working on defining the brand and creating some truly amazing things. This is the year that I decided to fully harness the power of what I've created, to go all in and create magic beyond the studio, beyond teaching, beyond social media. Today I got to workshop on what the essence of this community truly is! After much thought, I arrived at these four words. We are all about being REAL. INSPIRATIONAL. COURAGEOUS. And the biggest part of all... This is a journey of HEALING. I'm so resonating with this as my core. I want to invite you along on this journey! How do these words resonate with you? What brought you here? How do you feel being an integral part of this community, of this platform? We are growing and expanding. With heart. With love. Not without making sacrifices. Do not harm. Take no shit.
