I'm in the car, driving from Uppsala to Stockholm listening to Day-O by Harry Belafonte on repeat for the gazillionth time (it's literally the only thing that makes Luni happy when she's cranky in the car). If you don't know the song, play it now. Do it. And then imagine listening to it ten times a day for several months in a row. This song is in my head all day all night and so engrained into my system I found myself casually saying "a beautiful bunch a RIPE BANANA" to the clerk at the check-out counter at the grocery store the other day, forgetting that Harry Belafonte lives in my head and my head only? I MAY BE GOING NUTS. Come mister tally man tally me banana??? We've spent the day with my family celebrating my grandmothers birthday. Both sides of my family are farmers and family visits always entail horses and cows and chickens. And usually a dog or two! Then we went to the house my dad has been working on since 2001.
