IT'S FRIDAY AND THAT MEANS PODCAST DAY! Damn. I look at this photo and you can't tell at all that it's been for days since I got even an hour of undisturbed sleep. Good lighting and concealer is underrated!? Sleep deprivation is taking its toll on me and when I sat down to record this weeks podcast I immediately burst into tears. So! This weeks podcast episode is not about the 30-day yoga challenge we are all embarking on today but basically just me bawling into the microphone trying to make sense out of life for 45 minutes?
This podcast is not inspirational, or clever, or full of wisdom. It's just me feeling my feelings. And right now everything is hard? I talk about what not getting any sleep, at all, ever is doing to my mind and body, and I have the realization mid-podcast that I don't want to be "just a mom" (even though being a mom is the grates thing there is!!). I also talk about how I try to make myself feel better on crappy days, feeling sensitive about Instagram comments and how sharing and holding space for each other to feel might just be the single most important thing ever.
