I don't tend to take many photos at the lake, but this year, I wanted to document it. A celebration of sorts...my fifth year going. Ellen's thirtieth year going. I took stills, and portraits, and landscapes. Admired the details and what makes the place so special. I'm not quite sure what it is yet, something unspoken, but the beauty and the history sure do play a supporting role. Maybe, though, it's just the gin martinis on a water soaked dock.
