On this day in 2012 I was nervously waiting for a phone call that would change my life... distracting myself in an all-you-can-eat Chinese with my mum @janeedyson every minute seemed like an hour, until the phone rang and suddenly everything was a blur. The lead up to that moment could not have been more intense or emotional, especially in the months preceding that final trial, but I'm so honoured to have been selected to represent my country at the Olympic Games, alongside an incredible team too, and so thankful to everyone who helped me get there ?❤️ So I'm posting in memory of this day 5 years ago, and "Olympic Day" yesterday ?????? #london #2012 #olympics #london2012 #olympicday
