@スミソニアン博物館: Black-footed ferrets almost went extinct due to plague and habitat loss. Eighteen ferrets were all that were left in the late 1980s, but breeding programs like the one at the Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute have brought the species back.
Ferrets born at SCBI are transferred to U.S. Fish & Wildlife preconditioning sites and released to the wild. #EndangeredSpeciesDay
