Today in Australia, it's Mother's Day!! So, Happy Mother's Day to the best mum ever @annaitsines ? My mum taught me not to focus on grades, but rather focus on being kind to people. She taught me to give to others without expecting anything in return. She always said "be a good person and do your best and that's all that matters". She has always supported leah and I in everything we wanted to do when we were growing up ... not financially, but by helping us clean our rooms, by having a home cooked meal for us, by telling us "well done" and "I'm proud of you" along the way. By bringing us a blanket when we were cold and medicine when we were sick. By coming to our sporting games and celebrating no matter if we won or not. Never once, has my mum done something JUST for herself. She will ALWAYS help someone else first. My mum didn't have a lot growing up, but she had love. Myself and leah were the same.
