? WARM UP & GLUTE ACTIVATION ? Here’s a little video I put together of some of the exercises I do prior to working out my lower body. What is glute activation? To put it simply, it’s waking up your glutes. Performing effective glute activation exercises as part of your warm up makes the connection from your brain to your muscle and gets the muscle fired up and ready to do some work. For those who tuned in to my @womensbest Snapchat takeover you may remember a few of these exercises ? Here’s what I did: - 10 minute interval running on treadmill Glute activation with resistance band - Fire Hydrants: 15 (each leg) x 3 - Monster walks (up and back) x 3 - Glute bridge: 15 x 3 - Lateral band walks: (up and back) x 3 Song: You Be Killin Em - Fabolous ---------------------------------------------------------- GIVEAWAY WINNER: It was SO difficult for me to choose a winner.
