Them gloootes took a beating last night ☠️? but in a good way ? playing with reps of 8 with 315, except I can't count and did 9 for this set ? I like identifying progression in my rate of perceived exertion (RPE) as opposed to just load (weight and volume). For example 315 for reps of 8 feels more bearable than it did a month ago??. This is a great way to identify improvement in the weight room. Often we're too quick to jump up in numbers without focusing on how the movement is executed and how it feels in the aftermath (i.e. How is your recovery? Is your soreness indicative of improper form?) Just something to think about for any of you guys perhaps feeling "demotivated" by your progress?
Remember that sometimes, progress isn't always obviously apparent- you're probably doing better than you think! ??? Happy Saturday everyone! #TheThrustIsAMust #FightForGrowth
