“We all want to know what’s in each other’s camera bags right? Here’s what I carry around 99% of the time in my @ThinkTankPhoto Airport Roller Derby bag (I gotta have my 4 wheels for all the airport walking). Canon 5Ds body and backup body. Always have a backup camera just in case something goes wrong. 24-70mm 2.8 - This is my all-time favorite lens. It’s crazy sharp and I’m anal about cropping correctly in camera so I love the option of a zoom lens and being able to tweak the crop quickly. 85mm 1.2 - Love using this in low light. My latest portrait series on my Instagram feed has all been shot with this lens. It’s beautiful. 50mm 1.2 - I don’t use this one as much as my 85mm but it’s great for event shooting like weddings. I used it all the time when I used to shoot weddings and also when I toured as Britney Spear’s tour photographer. 70-200mm 2.8 - This is my go-to lens for international humanitarian trips to Africa and Haiti, etc. I love the options this lens gives me. I also always carry one @ProfotoUSA B1 Strobe. I only use one light on a lot of my overseas trips. You just never know when you’re going to need a light so I keep one on me at all times. And of course I have both a Profoto Air Remote and a Pocket Wizard Multimax to trigger my lights. I use the 2 different remotes for different uses, depending on the shoot. Lastly, I have my SanDisk Compact Flash cards, extra batteries for everything, miscellaneous cables, etc. What do YOU have to have in your bag?
