this is the first time in my entire life that this has read "m" ?

it's strange, yet beautiful. i used to hang onto the "f" as a testament from where i've come from... but now, it has been so long since i have switched my social security and other ID information - records don't show my past. i am default "m" because of the work i did when i was 17, 18, 19 years old just now paying off. i'll be 26 this may, and luckily, i have the words to talk about my past. not just the words to "explain" the xx chromosomes i carry, not just the words to tell a story of how i transitioned - i have the words to celebrate the journey. from when i was born until now, i have been on an adventure, and i will forever rejoice in that. #transandhappy #ftm #fthappy #queer #lgbt #journey #trans #transgender #growing
