yesterday, i sat on a trans panel at a church. twelve years ago, i wandered into this same church - it was the first Unitarian Universalist congregation I had ever tried out, and while Stow was wonderful, I ended up going to Littleton the following week and joined their youth group.

UUism has a program called "Our Whole Lives" aka OWL. when i joined, the youth group had just gone through the program the previous year. but yesterday, i was able to go back and be a part of the learning experience alongside three lovely humans and i felt like i'd come full circle. the OWL program focuses on healthy sexual identity, sexual orientation, and gender identity/expression for kids around middle school age. they were able to ask any questions and they did. these young folk were so kind, respectful, and curious. i felt moved.

after, i hiked a short trail by the Assabet river that I used to hike when I lived nearby. this was my view as I was feeling relaxed, at peace, and inspired for the first time in a while ❤️? #transandhappy #uuism #unitarianuniversalist #ftm #queer #owl #assabet
