Don't have time to blend in the morning? Have an extra serving of smoothie left over? Don't want to wake up the whole house with a 6AM blender wake-up call? No problem! If you want to blend your smoothie in advance just be sure to follow these simple guidelines:

1) Make sure you store your smoothie in an airtight container in the fridge.
2) This is optional—but I like to add a little lemon juice before storing to preserve flavor.
3) Be sure to drink within 48 hours.
4) Before you start gulpin', give your smoothie a GOOD shake first!
