Before Jason Momoa (@ジェイソン・モモア) let his mother watch the new @ネットフリックス drama “Frontier,” he had to prep her for some of his scenes. In the series opener, his character — a part Native American trader battling for control of the fur industry in 18th-century North America — castrates British soldiers and skins them alive. “It was like ‘Mom, just stick with it,’” @ジェイソン・モモア told @ニューヨーク・タイムズ. “I’m not normally that bad.” In real life, the impishly funny 37-year-old maintains an Instagram feed where you can find him pursuing other outdoor activities, like rock climbing. He showed up at a @ニューヨーク・タイムズ interview in jeans, with a curved hunting knife strapped to his belt and the remnants of blond highlights from his turn as Aquaman in the movie @justiceleague. @elizabeth_weinberg photographed #JasonMamoa in LA.
