Putting the last touches to our #Vienna exhibition which opens to the public tomorrow in the magnificent interiors of the Palais Schönborn-Batthyány. Covering all key collecting categories, from Old Masters to Modern and Contemporary art, "A Glimpse Into Austria's Private Collections" brings together works by leading Austrian and international artists. Important works by Egon #Schiele and Gustav #Klimt will be presented alongside Baroque masterworks by artists such as Franz Christoph Jannek and Gaetano Gandolfi, and monumental contemporary photographs by Jeff Wall, Thomas Struth and Thomas Ruff. The exhibition has been made possible thanks to the generous loans of private collectors and foundations, including the Liechtenstein Princely Collections (Vaduz, Vienna), the Klimt Foundation, Vienna and the Diethard Leopold Collection.
