#Fruit encompasses a significantly large portion of my daily food intake. If you have a 'trainer' telling you not to eat it because it's going to 'get you fat', please run for the hills ? Yes, fruit has sugar but it also contains FIBER! I look at food in terms of its nutritional benefit and what it can do for my body rather than 'how many calories it contains'. I don't believe in counting calories and I don't believe in counting macros (I'll do a full post on this but just because it fits your macros doesn't mean it's good for you or your digestive system!) Fad diets simply lead to eating disorders, unhealthy relationships with food and weight GAIN in the long run. Fruit doesn't cause weight gain and salt doesn't cause weight gain. What causes weight gain is over eating and restricting yourself to the point that you lose control and devour everything in sight when no one is around. Looking good is secondary and comes automatically. Having a healthy relationship with your body is ALWAYS the priority and marks the difference between people who can maintain their bodies for life and those who fall off the wagon from temporary 'quick fixes'! #eatyourfruit #livelean #balance
