This 15-foot-tall pyramid of champagne glasses is overflowing with melted metal. Created by artist Matt Kenyon, it’s a visual representation of trickle-down economics. His work asks us to stop and rethink the systems around us, and this series, Giant Pool of Money, examines the thoughts and beliefs that led to the 2008 global financial crisis. “What seems like solid, familiar, everyday currency melts before our eyes, threatening to collapse the entire, fragile system,” he says.
