A contingent of several hundred Arhuacos arrived in Bogotá to support the faltering peace process in Colombia between the government and leftist guerrillas which aims to end a half-century of internal warfare. Indigenous communities such as the Arhuacos have suffered especially from attacks by all parties to the conflict.
