Mobula rays are the smaller cousins of the more popular and larger manta rays. These #minimantas have few of the conservation measures that extensively protect their larger relatives. This however may be about to change. In a few days CITES delegates from all over the world will meet in Johannesburg South Africa to discuss which animals and plants will receive new protection from the international wildlife trade.
