A walk through #TimesSquare typically requires a high tolerance for exasperation, but even more so when it’s spent in the company of Gil Faizon and George St. Geegland, 2 crabby Upper West Siders who kvetch about anything that seems different than they remember it. The comedians @nickkroll and @johnmulaney have been playing this pair of crabby pals, under wigs and layers of old-age makeup, for about a decade. And soon, the 2 funnymen will be taking their stage show, @ohhelloshow, to #Broadway — a move their cantankerous alter egos say is long overdue. @amylombard, who photographed George St. Geegland and Gil Faizon connecting with fans in Times Square, told @ニューヨーク・タイムズ this was one of her favorite shoots in a while. “Of course, I have photographed actors and comedians before,” she said, “but never have I met 2 people who were so quick to react in character and be effortlessly hilarious.” #OhHelloBroadway is scheduled to open at the Lyceum Theater on October 10. #?? #?
