‘I took this shot in the immense and starkly beautiful landscape of the Dasht-e Kavir, the northernmost of Iran’s two deserts. As we walked across the pristine sand dunes in the hour before sunset, a pink glow illuminated the dunes and the only sound was of the slowly shifting sand.
