@ヒラリー・クリントン stepped into history last night in Philadelphia, ending the #Democratic convention on notes of unity throughout the party and the nation. Among our takeaways: (1) The #Democratic presidential nominee was unapologetic about her résumé. “Sometimes the people at this podium are new to the national stage,” she said. “I am not one of those people.” (2) She isn’t done courting @バーニー・サンダース supporters. She seemed to acknowledge as much, addressing them with a simple message: I hear you. (3) Democrats will keep talking about @ドナルド・トランプ’s proposed Muslim ban — as Khizr Khan did in a stirring address. (4) @ヒラリー・クリントン has at times struggled with how, and how often, to highlight her gender. No more. She cheered her nomination as “a milestone in our nation’s march toward a more perfect union.” The @ニューヨーク・タイムズ photographer @joshhaner captured the #balloondrop from above.
