#Dancers performed around a girl during a #blockparty in the #SouthBronx. The 26-year-old photographer @edwintorresphoto first really saw the Bronx when he left to attend college in Maine. When he rode the train home for spring break during his freshman year, his eyes opened to the incredible human pageant he’d been missing. “I saw this African lady with her 4 kids, all in traditional clothing, and I thought, my God, this is so beautiful,” he said. “Everything was coming to life around me.” After graduation, @edwintorresphoto returned home with a job for an insurance company and a bug for photography.
