Over the span of 2 seasons and 18 episodes — which, in an unusual move, have already been ordered, written and produced — the new @hbo series “Vice Principals” tells the story of a pair of rival high school officials, played by Danny McBride (@lone_wolf_mcbride) and Walton Goggins (@waltongogginsbonafide). The 2 vie furiously to be named principal, then become unlikely allies when they lose the job to an outside candidate, played by Kimberly Hèbert Gregory (@krg1207). @lone_wolf_mcbride, who worked as a substitute teacher during a lull in his Hollywood career, found inspiration for the series in a teachers' lounge. “It was the first time where I realized these people want to be here less than these students.” The scene was like a 1980s teen comedy, he said, “but all the adults are going through those social crises that are usually for the nerdy 15-year-olds.” @nathanielwood took this photo of #WaltonGoggins and #DannyMcBride at Rough House Pictures in Hollywood. “Vice Principals” debuts on Sunday on @hbo.
