This looks like a photograph, but it’s actually a pastel drawing of a melting glacier in Greenland. Artist Zaria Forman uses her fingers and palms to create incredible large-scale compositions, each one highlighting the power and fragility of the Arctic. “I hope they can serve as records of sublime landscapes in flux, documenting the transition and inspiring our global community to take action for the future,” she says.
