This art project, Humanæ, celebrates the beauty of human skin in every color. Photographer Angelica Dass takes a person’s photo then matches their skin to a Pantone color. She hopes to show that the way we talk about skin color -- black, white, yellow and red -- creates artificial divides, while the reality of our true colors is much more nuanced. “Every time I take a picture,” she says, “I feel that I am sitting in front of a therapist. All the frustration, fear and loneliness that I once felt ... becomes love.” See more at go.ted.com/humanae and follow @angelicadass
