An old dormitory where Marie found shelter. The 20-year-old Armenian woman has been married twice. She said she divorced her 1st husband because he beat her. Her 2nd husband was in prison and she was taking care of her children alone when she met the photographer @anahithayrapet. A member of @4.plus, a collective of Armenian women photographers, @anahithayrapet has been recording the testimonies of women in Armenia who were victims of domestic violence. Sometimes she was too late, though, and had to photograph funerals.
