When we started @chingaysingapore in 1973, it was a one-day parade celebrating Chinese culture. It has since evolved into a multicultural Singapore festival with a two-day parade plus a Night Fiesta. Last night I attended the Fiesta at Bishan-AMK Park with Ho Ching.

The fiesta brought colourful Chingay performances, floats, lights and fireworks right into our HDB estates. Definitely added more Singaporean flavour to Chingay.
