Francis Olsen, whom I call “Oscar”, served in my artillery battalion when I was CO back in 1980. He brought some of our old photos to the Teck Ghee CNY dinner last night. They really brought back memories!

Oscar was among the many residents who came together for our annual CNY dinner yesterday. Although it was to celebrate CNY, I was heartened to see many non-Chinese like Oscar celebrating together with their Chinese friends. Everyone was in good spirits! – LHL (MCI Photo by Terence Tan)
