Since @Starbucks​ and I broke up a couple years ago, my new BFF drink is Spiced Almond Milk. It’s soooo good! This soothing warm drink, and It happily takes the place of coffee, tea, soda, etc. It’s SO delicious and comforting! I sometimes drink it before bed if I’m getting the late-night munchies. I’m sharing it below so you can taste it yourself and see what I’m talking about! This is the perfect little treat for the end of the day. The combination of almond milk and warming digestive spices balances your blood sugar and stabilizes your metabolism. For an extra protein boost (which helps curb hunger pains), add almond butter. For an extra dash of sweetness, add maple syrup and stir through. Spiced Almond Milk | serves one 1 cup almond milk, unsweetened 1⁄4 teaspoon cinnamon A pinch of ground ginger A pinch of cayenne pepper 1⁄2 teaspoon maple syrup (optional, but I always include it) 1 tablespoon almond butter (optional, but I always include this one too) Directions Combine all ingredients in a small pan. Heat on the stove over medium heat until warm Transfer to your blender and blend for 15 seconds, making sure to leave a little hole in the lid for steam to escape (optional, but I do it every time because it makes the creamiest, frothiest drink.
