Two and a half years ago I became a single parent after giving birth to my son and having a breast reconstruction, the only time in my life when I've ever needed somebody to hold my hand and be there for me and that's when I was left alone instead. "If I showed you my flaws, if I couldn't be strong tell me honestly would you still love me the same?" And the answer was no. Now that I've healed I'm far happier on my own, stronger and 100% self sufficient, I'll never again ask anybody to hold my hand when I'm struggling because all I need are my two beautiful children and air in my lungs.
