So today I swam 100m for The Ducklings Trust (.org.uk) which is a charity to support the Maternity Unit of Stoke Mandeville Hospital where my two children were born and I sadly had a miscarriage. With your kind donations I conquered my fear of drowning to raise £1,000 for the baby unit with my swim today and it will help so many families and little lives, so thank you from the bottom of my heart. I will be publishing the video footage next week. When I came home I started cooking our dinner and my daughter surprised me by making me this lovely card, incase you can't read the gold handwriting she wrote: "To Mummy, when I saw your video I was very shocked that you said you couldn't swim because you were a great swimmer when you showed me how to swim.
